1、 Classification of basins

1. Angle Basin

Due to the small floor area of the angle type basin, it is generally suitable for the smaller toilet. After installation, the toilet has more room for swing.

2. Ordinary Basin

It is suitable for the toilet with general decoration, economical and practical, but not beautiful.

3. Vertical Basin

It is suitable for toilets with small area. It can match with interior high-grade decoration and other luxury sanitary wares.

4. Table top basins with and without edges

It is suitable for the toilet with large space and high-grade decoration. The table top can be made of marble or granite.

Generally speaking, there are three kinds of holes in the basin, i.e. water inlet hole, overflow prevention hole and drainage hole. In order to fill the basin with water, the drain hole must be blocked up. Generally, the drain hole is provided with a special plug, some of which can be directly taken off or closed, and some of which can be controlled by a pull and press rod attached to the faucet.

1. Space determining form

The basin can be roughly divided into two types: independent type and table type. The independent style is beautiful in shape, small in floor area, easy to maintain and suitable for toilets with small space. But it needs to be equipped with a mirror box or a washstand, so as to use the space above the basin to put some toiletries and cosmetics. The desk washbasin should occupy the space of a small desk at least. It can put washing utensils on the table and sundries in the cabinet below. If the toilet area is not large, a triangular washbasin can be installed at the corner of the wall. A triangular sundry rack can be hung above the basin to store the washing articles.

2. Pay attention to height

Whether it is a stand-alone or table top basin, the height of basin surface or table top from the ground should be 80-85 cm, because the too short basin will cause low back pain.

3. Pay attention to the finish

The basin edge of the basin must be slightly higher than the mesa, but the joint with the mesa must be smooth. The purpose is to wipe the water splashed on the mesa back into the basin without obstruction, and to facilitate the cleaning of the mesa. The surface of the table must be smooth, and the edges and corners must be smooth to avoid collision. The surface finish of the basin itself is also very important. The basin surface with high surface finish makes the sundries in the water not easy to attach to the surface, which relatively reduces the number of times that need to be scrubbed.

4. Depth and faucet

According to the routine, the depth of the basin is directly proportional to the strength of the water flow of the faucet installed on it, that is to say, only a deep basin can install a faucet with strong water flow. Never install a large faucet on a basin with a shallow bottom, which will cause people to splash when using water. The bottom of the basin should have enough radians, not flat, or the water will accumulate in it.
